Service Description

Having support from someone who is knowledgeable, confident, & dedicated to co-creating the best possible birthing experience can be so relieving and rewarding. (Re)Birth Doulas hold space for our clients to experience compassion, validation, reassurance, empowerment, & confidence during the prenatal, birthing & postpartum periods. We draw from the wisdom and guidance of our birth working ancestors and elders, whose natural healing modalities helped form the foundation of modern healthcare. Our Birth Services Include: - Emotional, physical and educational support during pregnancy, birth and postpartum - 2 prenatal visits (virtual &/or in person) to get to know you and your unique preferences for this labor and postpartum period. - 1 Care Provider visit to meet your care team and get familiar with your place of birth - 1 Postpartum Care Visit to celebrate your birth, provide info & resources, offer breastfeeding support and assist you with immediate needs. - 1 Postpartum Care Package includes a custom Yoni Steam, Herbal Sitz Bath and Postpartum Tea blend. - Creation and facilitation of your birth plan and vision (including but not limited to desired comfort measures, movements, aromatherapy, music, prayer, altar building, massage & physical touch) - Photos & videos of your birth journey when possible, if desired. - Working with your partner and family or loved ones to establish and maintain a peaceful and positive environment - Working with the care team, staff and providers to establish rapport and to ensure that you have enough information to make informed decisions - Prioritizing your informed consent on anything regarding your birth, your body, & your baby, advocating for you every step of the way - Continual email/text/phone support (within reasonable hours) throughout pregnancy & postpartum - Reachable 24/7 beginning two weeks prior to your estimated due date
